New Test Coming For Edge Metal On Roofing
In 2015, MCA started developing a new test standard for edge metal details used on metal roofing. An MCA task group worked with three laboratories to test a variety of edge metal details from several manufacturers. The results of that testing and the feedback from the test laboratories will help finalize a new test method, introduce it to an ANSI subcommittee for validation, and hopefully change building codes to accept the new test.
