Located between the West End historic district and the convention center in Dallas, 700 Jackson Street is a multi-phase, mixed-use development. The project consists of a ground-level restaurant and retail with 11 levels of parking above for both the courthouse and surrounding businesses. Perforated formed aluminum panels create the intricate design for the custom garage screen that sets the structure apart from other parking in the area. Special attention was paid to construction due to load-carrying embeds that were cast as part of the core’s concrete supporting structure to accommodate future expansion.

With its muted appeal and matte finishes, Metal Composite Material (MCM) helps a project fit into its surroundings, creating a sense of place that complements the natural environment. In Frisco, Texas, the design of Southstone Yards by Thornton Tomasetti echoes the city’s agricultural and railyard history. This building is one of many in the new mixed-use development.

Metal Composite Material (MCM) is the perfect fit for heavy-use buildings, like healthcare facilities. MCM is a strong, long-lasting, energy-efficient material that provides an aesthetically pleasing environment.
