The North Carolina State University Plant Sciences Building won an MCA Design Award in the Metal Composite Material (MCM) category. Flad Architects designed the building with MCA member 3A Composites on the project. The building features innovative use of metal for a clean and elegant design. The project utilized a variety of metals and other sustainable materials, contributing to its LEED Gold certification.
