This community library in Far Rockaway, NY, needed a bold, updated look to inspire a new generation. Metal Composite Material (MCM) helped architecture studio SNOHETTA ARCHITECTURE DESIGN PLA achieve a stunning, creative result that evokes growth and renewal. MCM was instrumental in the project, winning a NYC Annual Award for Excellence in Design and meeting the LEED Gold standard for environmental efficiency with the help of sustainable MCM.
